Life can change before your eyes. This time a month ago I had a girlfriend, I lived in Cambridge I had a band. Now it’s all gone. But im not mad nor upset. I feel like everyones life is a book. And with every new part of your life is a new chapter. And I’m just on to the next. I’m living in toronto. I’m looking for a new job. Thinking about starting my own company. And I’m gonna continue to be the best drummer i can be and jam with as many people as possible. Here’s to summer 2012. I’m gonna live like it’s the last summer of my life. And you should too

why do we need a reason to do something nice. the idea that being mean or anti-friendly is more convenient is insane! its as if people are afraid to be nice. like they know the out come of being snobby or rude will cause a reaction in the other person and put them in some high level. I try everyday to make people smile, laugh, feel better about themself. im no angel i hurt people. it happens. but to strangers or people i just meet. im always accepting no matter what. the other day i went in to metro with a back pack on and the sign on the door said
“no back packs after dark”
well it was after dark so i went up to the first lady i found. i could have easily just walked in but instead i went up to someone just to do the right thing. here is our convo
ME”excuse me miss, do you want me to leave my bag here im just going to be 1 min”
HER”well whats the sign say”
HER”leave it right there by the door”
ME”o sorry i was just making sure, are you going to watch it for me :)” ( i said it with a smile and totally jokingly manner)
HER”i am NOT your babysitter” (she said it so loud everyone that could see us stopped what they were doing to stare at us)
i left, i was so embarrassed.
Some people need to be open minded when meeting new people and not judge them by their cover. treat all strangers how you would treat your best friend.

people need to hug more. its amazing what a hug can do for you. it compliments every emotion you can feel. if you win something. a congratulation hug to excite your nerves. if your angry a hug to calm you down. if your sad a hug to make you feel happier even if its just for that quick 3-5. if your scared a hug to calm you down. the list goes on. when you meet someone a handshake is suppose to represent you showing someone you have no weapons up your sleeve. well im pretty sure times have changed. you wouldn’t play hockey with a stick with a straight blade or walk around with a CD player. the world has evolved. so maybe its time for us to evolve. hand shakes are old news. give someone a hug. put everyone in the world in a better mood
